How to play
One in each row and column
Every row and every column gets exactly one pal.
One in each colour
Every coloured area gets exactly one pal too.
No touching
Pals need their space: no two may sit next to each other, not even corner to corner.
No guessing needed. Every board can be solved by reasoning alone, and a hint shows you the next logical step when you get stuck.
New twists on a classic
The rules you just learned are only the start. Two new kinds of board change how you think, and they keep turning up as you play.
Number clues
Some squares hold a sleeping pal with a number. It counts the pals in the eight squares around it. Nothing can go on the sleeping pal itself.
The 2 sees exactly two capybaras around it.
Region numbers
Now a colour can hold two pals, or none at all. The number on each colour tells you how many. Rows and columns still get exactly one each, and pals still can’t touch.
Two in pink, none in green, one each in yellow and blue.
See it in the game
Level 52, a region-numbers board. The pink area needs two capybaras, so the reasoning starts there. This is the real game, recorded as it plays.
From level 40, every third level is one of these.
Pals to look after

Each pal has a den of its own. Feed it, play with it, tuck it in, and decorate the room with furniture and hats bought with the treats you earn by solving puzzles.
